StoryTech conducted a comprehensive study of the environment including over 30 influencer interviews with network executives, producers, advertisers and social media experts. We analyzed the desire and vision of the main constitu ents within the ecosystem as well as the trending developments and disruptions in the marketplace relative to content, technology, finance, distribution and social.

The Challenge

Intel Future Labs approached TOMC to research and analyze the “Future of Storytelling”; to project how technology would enable content and story experiences in the next 5 to 10 years and to foresee Intel’s opportunity and role in powering that future.

The Results

TOMC constructed a new “Hollywood” value chain for film, television and new media that highlighted the intersection of Intel capabilities and business goals with points along the value chain. We also presented specific opportunities and strategies for their exploitation. Such strategies are now being applied to Ultrabook™ and AppUp.
